Board of Trustees

The fund has 100% employee representation on the board. Two Trustees are selected per province. These trustees are elected every third year by the member representative in each of the provinces. The board of trustees has full and final responsibility for the management of the fund.

The Role of the Trustees

Broadly the role of the trustees is to manage the affairs of the fund in terms of the required legislation. It appoints the service providers who are contracted to oversee the various management aspects of the fund and it ensures that the members’ interests are looked after.

A new term begin for our trustees. The trustees will serve on the board from November 2012 for three years.
